Khan delivers hope

Written by Nathanial I. Jackson
Salman Khan AcademyI absoutely love Ted Talk and this guy has taken the cake. I believe in education, each one teah one and Salman Khan has taken things to another level.

Alan Cox Show on WMMS (100.7-FM) assailed Akron in a parody song to the tune of Cee Lo Green's Forget You. Too funny, always reppin my city so check it out!

I came across this post from a very imformative fella by the name of Seth Godin. He created a check list to use before you send out emails. Very fun and if you are unfamilar with the sport then I reccommend that you read on..

Before you hit send on that next email, perhaps you should run down this list, just to be sure:

At the age of 14 this young man has managed to create something that many have dreamed, knocking off top seated Angry Birds off of its roost. Robert Nay toils away at game development. The 8th grader not only learned how to program his own iPhone game, but actually released it to hugely successful results.

This kid'sBubble Ball has floated to the top spot in the list of free downloads on the App Store, unseating former heavyweight champion Angry Birds. Bubble Ball was released on December 29, 2010, and has already been downloaded over 2 million times. It's also available for the Android, but is much more popular on the App Store.

Nay is apparently a computer genius that figured out the easiest path to releasing an app. He created Bubble Ball with the help of Ansca Mobile's Corona software development kit (SDK), which required the 14-year-old to learn the Lua programming language. Admittedly, Nay did get help from Mom as a level designer.

"I was pretty astonished," Nay told ABC News. "When I released it, I didn't think it would do so well."

The Lebrons coming back to Akron

Written by Nathanial I. Jackson

I love this guy, not only for putting my city on the map but for his marketing genius. Lebron James is coming out with a new series on you-tube. Set in my hometown of Akron, I look forward to seeing how this plays out if its anything like I suspect... it will be awsome.

According to Dave Itzkoff of The New York Times, the series will revive the four versions of LeBron: the youthful and wide-eyed Kid LeBron; the physically adept Athlete LeBron; the smooth and savvy Business LeBron; and the ornery elder statesman Wise LeBron. And for those of you wondering, the real LeBron will provide the voice of Business LeBron and appear in live-action segments in the series.

Check out the promo trailer:
